POCO India has launched its last budget 5G phone POCO M6 5G in its M series of smartphones in India. The phone features a 6.74-inch HD+ display, Dimensity 6100+ 6nm processor, up to 8GB RAM, dual rear camera, 5G, and a 5,000mAh battery.
POCO M6 5G sports a 6.74-inch HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate and up to 600 nits of brightness. The display panel also has Corning Gorilla Glass protection to protect the display from scratches. The smartphone also has TÜV low blue light and flicker-free certification.
The device runs Android 13 with MIUI 14 out of the box.
It packs Octa Core MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 6nm processor and Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The phone has 4GB or 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. There is also a 8 8GB LPDDR4X RAM model with 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. Internal storage is also expandable up to 1TB via microSD card. The device also supports an additional 8GB RAM expansion.
The phone has a 50 megapixels primary camera along with an AI camera. It also has 5 megapixels front camera for selfies. The front camera is placed inside a waterdrop notch located at the top of the display.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and USB Type-C. The fingerprint sensor is located inside the side button. It packs a 5000mAh battery with 18W wired charging.
POCO M6 5G has a Premium Sky Dance design. It comes in Galactic Black and Orion Blue colors. Dimensions measure 168×78×8.09mm and the phone weighs 195g.
