OnePlus has confirmed that its upcoming flagship OnePlus 12 smartphone will have a 5400 mAh battery. The phone will support 100W SuperVOOC fast charging and 50W wireless flash charging. OnePlus claims that the phone can be charged up to 100% in 26 minutes with wired charging and in 55 minutes with wireless charging. OnePlus 12 will also support wireless reverse charging.
OnePlus further claims that the phone will retain at least 80% of its battery capacity even after 1,600 charge and discharge cycles. OnePlus also added a SUPERVOOC S battery management chip to the phone, promising an ultra-high discharge efficiency of 99.5%.

OnePlus 12 will also feature IP65 dustproof and waterproof ratings that were missing in the OnePlus 11. The upcoming flagship phone will also support USB 3.2 Gen1, multi-function NFC, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and super-linear stereo dual speakers. The phone will also include AAC’s Bionic Vibration Motor Turbo for better vibration effects while playing games.
The company has also developed ‘holographic audio’ technology to holographic audio. The Super Signal Project achieves full coverage of Wi-Fi, cellular data, weak network games, and near-field communication core scenarios.
We already know that the OnePlus 12 will pack a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. OnePlus 12 features the world’s first 2K BOE X1 screen with a peak brightness of 4500 nits and a Sony LYT-808 flagship sensor in the primary camera.
OnePlus 12 will feature a glass back and should be available in three colors: Black, White, and Green. The phone will run Android 14 out of the box. The Chinese variant will feature ColorOS 14 and the global variant will come with OxygenOS 14.
OnePlus 12 will be launched tomorrow in China.
