Xiami just announced Redmi K70 Pro and Redmi K70 smartphones at an event in China. These phones feature flat AMOLED displays jointly developed with TCL Huaxing and a 5000 mAh battery. These phones differ in other specifications.
Redmi K70 and K70 Pro feature the same 6.67-inch 2K 12-bit AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz instant touch sampling rate. The display panel has 3840Hz PWM high-frequency dimming, 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and up to 4000 nits peak brightness. The panel supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
Redmi K70 Pro packs Octa Core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 4nm SoC and Adreno 750 GPU. It has up to 24GB LPDDR5x 8533Mbps RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The phone uses a self-developed Circular cold pump cooling system Vapor-liquid separation design and a one-way circulation structure that promises three times better performance than the traditional VC. Redmi K70 is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 4nm Mobile Platform and Adreno 740 GPU. The phone has up to 16GB LPDDR5x 8533Mbps RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
Redmi K70 Pro features 50 megapixels primary camera with Light Fusion 800 sensor with OIS and EIS. The phone also has 12 megapixels 120° OmniVision OV13B10 ultra-wide angle camera and 50 megapixels 2x telephoto OmniVision OV50D40 sensor. The camera can record 8K videos. It has 16 megapixels front-facing camera for selfies.
Redmi K70 has the same 50 megapixels Light Fusion 800 camera along with 8 megapixels 120° ultra-wide angle camera and 2 megapixels macro camera. The phone also has a 16 megapixels front-facing camera. It can record up to 8K videos.
Both the phones feature in-display fingerprint sensor and Infrared sensor. These phones also have Stereo speakers and support Hi-Res audio along with Dolby Atmos.
Connectivity options are 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7 802.11 ad, Bluetooth 5.4, Beidou, Galileo, NavlC, USB Type-C, and NFC.
Redmi K70 Pro and Redmi K70 pack the same 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging. These phones also feature a P2 fast charging chip and a G1 battery management chip. Surprisingly, these phones pack wireless charging that was present in predecessors.
Redmi K70 Pro and Redmi K70 feature a metal frame and a glass back.
