Microsoft releases Windows app for Mac, iPhone, and iPad

Windows app

Microsoft has launched a new Windows app that lets users try the Windows operating system from the cloud. Windows app for Mac, iPhone, iPad, and web lets users access Windows and its app without needing to install Windows on their system. Surprisingly there is no app for Android, but we can expect it soon.

To access the Windows app, use these links to access it on the web, on your PC via Microsoft Store, macOS, and iOS/iPadOS. If you are an avid Windows user, this utility makes it much easier to run your cloud PC on any device you want. Share your thoughts in the comments below.

“You can use Windows App on many different types of devices on different platforms and form factors, such as desktops and laptops, tablets, smartphones, and through a web browser,” says Microsoft.

It is a good idea for people who do not have a Windows PC but want to try a Windows app or a Windows feature for the time being. Now that Apple doesn’t allow Apple Silicon Macs to run Windows in Boot Camp, a lot of Mac owners will surely love this new app.

Windows app offers several features that make it interesting. Features like multiple monitor support, custom display resolutions, dynamic display resolutions, device redirection, and Microsoft Teams optimizations. It also lets you use multiple accounts and you can also easily switch between them.

Windows app is currently in beta and is limited to Microsoft’s range of business accounts. You cannot use your personal Microsoft account to access the app, but it will also be available to consumers later.
