Lava has launched its latest budget 5G phone Lava Blaze 2 5G in India. The phone is the successor to Lava Blaze 5G launched last year. Lava Blaze 2 5G comes with a 6.56-inch 90Hz LCD display, Dimensity 6020 SoC, up to 6GB RAM, dual camera, 8 MP selfie camera, and 5000mAh. The phone starts at Rs. 9999.
Lava Blaze 5G features a 6.56-inch HD+ 2.5D Curved screen display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The display panel also has a hole punch at the top center for the selfie camera.
The phone packs an Octa Core MediaTek Dimensity 6020 7nm processor and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It comes in two models 4GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB UFS 2.2 Storage and 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB UFS 2.2 Storage. The phone supports up to 6GB of virtual RAM. Internal storage is also expandable up to 1TB with microSD.
The smartphone runs Android 13 out of the box. The company claims that the software has no bloatware. It also promises a guaranteed Android 14 upgrade and two years of security updates.
The rear camera setup has 50 megapixels primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and a secondary AI camera. It also has a ring Light flash and an LED flash for low-light photos. The ring light can also work as a notification light. For selfies, the phone has 8 megapixels front camera.
The fingerprint sensor is embedded in the side button. The phone has 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C connectivity options. Lava Blaze 2 5G packs 5000mAh battery with 18W charging.
Dimensions of the phone measure 164.2x76x8.45mm and the phone weighs 203g. It comes in Glass Black, Glass Blue, and Glass Lavender colors. The phone has a metal frame and a glass back.

Lava is also offering a ‘free service at home’ to all customers who purchase Lava Blaze 2 5G. The company will provide doorstep service within the warranty period.
