Google added Memory saver feature on Chrome earlier this year to provide a smoother browsing experience. Now the company has added a quick reporting of ‘Memory usage’ for each tab.
When you hover over a tab, It shows a card showing Memory usage along with the page name and domain name. So, you can quickly see how much memory a web page is using. It is easier to open Chrome’s task manager to see the RAM usage of the Mac tab.

The feature is available with Chrome 119. It is being slowly rolled out to all users on Mac, Windows, Linux, and ChromeOS.
Memory usage information can be really helpful in preventing the slowdown or crashing of a tab. People who frequently use and manage multiple tabs will surely find it useful.
