X introduces two new subscription plans; Here are the details

Elon Musk owned X has introduced two new subscription tiers to give users more options. Now there’s a Basic tier with ads and Premium+ with no ads at all. So, users now have three different plans to choose from. They can get one depending on their budget and needs.

The Basic Plan is the cheapest one that offers basic features to starters. It doesn’t provide a blue verification check. However, users get a boost to their replies, ability to edit posts, ability to undo posts, post longer posts and videos, background playback, and ability to download videos. You will still see ads. Users with a Basic plan will not get paid to post, and won’t get Creator Subscriptions.

The Premium+ plan is the most premium and provides several additional features such as ads-free access, reply boost, the ability to undo send tweets, and some exclusive features. The only difference between the Premium and Premium+ plans is that Premium+ users won’t see ads and will get the largest reply boost.

The company introduced these plans to boost its earnings because of falling ad revenue. Musk also wants to make X an ‘everything app’ to directly challenge YouTube, LinkedIn, and Payments apps.

The Basic and new Premium+ plans are available to purchase only on the web. The Basic Plan costs Rs. 243 per month and the Premium+ plan is priced at Rs. 1300 per month. The existing Premium plan is still sold at Rs. 650. The newly introduced plans are only available on the web.
