Samsung has announced its latest Fan Edition smartphone Samsung Galaxy S23 FE in its latest S23 series. The phone features a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200, 8GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, 50+12+8 MP rear camera, 10MP selfie camera, 5G, and 4500mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE features a 6.4-inch FHD+ Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED Display. The display panel has a 60~120Hz variable refresh rate. The phone also has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection to protect the display from scratches.
The phone packs a 3GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 4nm Mobile Platform and Adreno 730 GPU. There is also a variant of the phone with a 2.8GHz Octa-Core Samsung Exynos 2200 4nm processor and Samsung Xclipse 920 GPU. There is also vapor chamber cooling to keep the phone’s temperature under control while performing resource-intensive tasks. It packs 8GB RAM and is offered with 128GB or 256GB internal storage options.
Galaxy S23 FE runs Android 13 with One UI 5 out of the box. Samsung promises 4 years of Android updates and 5 years of security updates for this phone.
The rear camera setup of Galaxy S23 FE features a 50 megapixels primary camera with OIS, 12 megapixels Ultra Wide sensor, and 8 megapixels telephoto camera with OIS and 3X optical zoom. For selfies, the phone has 10 megapixels selfie camera.
Connectivity options are 5G SA/NSA, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11ax (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS + GLONASS, USB 3.1, and NFC. It packs a 4500mAh battery with support for 25W wired fast charging, wireless charging, and wireless power share
This is the first phone in the FE series that features a glass back with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It also has an aluminum frame. The phone comes in Mint, Cream, Graphite, and Purple colors. It measures 158.0×76.5×8.2mm and weighs 209g. The smartphone is also IP68 dust and water-resistant.
