Motorola has introduced its latest smartphone Motorola Edge (2023) in its Edge series of smartphones. Motorola Edge (2023) is the successor to last year’s Motorola Edge. Motorola Edge (2023) comes with a 6.6-inch 144Hz 10-bit pOLED curved display, Dimensity 7030, 50+13 MP rear camera, 32 MP selfie camera, 5G, and 4400mAh battery.
Motorola Edge (2023) features a 6.6-inch FHD+ pOLED curved display with 144Hz and 360Hz touch sampling rate. The display panel has up to 1200 nits peak brightness. It supports 10-bit colors and HDR10+. The phone runs Android 13 out of the box.
The smartphone packs an Octa Core Dimensity 7030 6nm processor with Mali-G610 MC3 GPU. It has 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.
The rear camera setup has 50 megapixels primary camera with Quad Pixel Technology, f/1.8 aperture, and OIS. It also has 13 megapixels 120° ultra-wide autofocus camera with macro option. The company promises better performance in low-light environments and faster capture speeds. For selfies, the phone has 32 megapixels front-facing camera with Quad Pixel Technology. Camera features include Horizon Lock Stabilization, Video Portrait, Vlog Mode, and Audio Zoom.
Motorola Edge (2023) has Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. It also has USB Type-C Audio. Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC. The phone also has an under-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. Motorola Edge (2023) packs a 4400mAh battery with support for 68W TurboPower fast charging, 15W wireless sharing, and 5W wireless power-sharing
The phone has a sandblasted aluminum frame and a vegan leather back. It comes in Eclipse Black color. Edge 2023 measures 158.52 x 71.99 x 7.64mm and weighs 168g. The smartphone is also IP68 Dust and water resistant.
