Along with new MacBook Pro models, Apple has also refreshed its 24-inch iMac lineup with the new M3 chip. The M3 chip brings a major update to 2021 iMac models. Apple promises that new iMac models offer 2x faster performance compared to previous iMac with M1 chip.

The new iMac features the same 24-inch 4.5K Retina XDR display with up to 500 nits brightness, True Tone technology and P3 Wide color. It packs M3 chip with 8-core CPU, 8-core / 10-core GPU, and 16-core Neural Engine. The device packs 8GB of unified memory that is also configurable to 24GB. It is offered in 256GB and 512GB storage options and is also configurable to 1TB or 2TB.

There is a 1080p FaceTime HD camera with an Advanced image signal processor, studio-quality three-mic array with a high signal-to-noise ratio, High-fidelity six-speaker sound system with force-cancelling woofers, and Wide stereo sound. The new iMac also supports spatial audio when playing music or video with Dolby Atmos on built-in speakers.

It has a DisplayPort, Thunderbolt 3, USB 4, and USB 3.1 Gen 2.
