Apple today introduced its latest Apple Pencil with a USB-C port for charging. This new Apple Pencil offers pixel-perfect accuracy, low latency, and tilt sensitivity. So, it is good for note-taking, sketching, annotating, journaling, and more.

The most notable change in the new Apple Pencil is the lack of pressure sensitivity that is available on both the first and second-gen Apple Pencil models. The USB-C Apple Pencil supports low latency for responsive input and tilt sensitivity for shadowing.

It charges via USB-C and lacks wireless charging support. But, it supports the hover feature on the M2 iPad Pro models and can be magnetically attached to the side.

The USB-C Apple Pencil sits between the Apple Pencil 2nd generation and the Apple Pencil 1st generation. Here’s the compatibility details:

The new Apple Pencil measures 7.5 x 155mm and weighs 20.5 grams.

The new Apple Pencil is priced at Rs. 7900 and will be available starting next month. Students and teachers can get it for Rs. 6900 with education pricing.
