Sony today launched its latest flagship TWS earbuds Sony WF-1000XM5 in India. Sony WF-1000XM5 is the successor to Sony WF-1000XM4 and promises to offer several improvements compared to its predecessor.

Sony WF-1000XM5 buds come with a compact design and glossy texture. Each bud packs 8.4 mm Dynamic Driver X. Buds also have Integrated Processor V2 and QN2e chips. QN2e chip provides an improved Noise Cancellation feature. Bud also supports SBC, AAC, LDAC, and LC3 audio formats.

Sony has also added DSEE Extreme upscaling technology for a better experience. The bone conduction sensors and deep neural network programming aim to offer improved call quality.

Buds feature Bluetooth v5.3 and support Google Fast Pair, Multipoint Connection, Head-tracking function, Auto Play, and 360 Reality Audio.

Buds praise 8 hours of music playback with Noise Cancellation turned on and up to 12 hours with Noise Cancellation turned off. The case can offer up to 24 hours of additional battery life. Buds also support quick charging that promises 60 minutes of play in just 3 minutes

Sony WF-1000XM5 is priced at Rs. 24,990 and pre-booking starts today. People who buy it before October 15th will get Rs. 3000 cashback and an SRS-XB100 portable speaker worth Rs. 4,990. Sony WF-1000XM5 will be available through the official Sony Center website, major electronic stores, and leading e-commerce portals like Amazon and Flipkart.
