OPPO has silently introduced its latest smartphone OPPO A38 smartphone in the UAE. The phone comes with a 6.56-inch HD+ 90Hz screen, Helio G85 SoC, 4GB RAM, 50+2 MP rear camera, 5MP selfie camera, 5G, and 5000mAh battery.
OPPO A38 features a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD display. The display panel has a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. The panel features a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 720 nits peak brightness. It also supports 100% sRGB and DCI-P3 color gamut. The phone runs ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13. The company also promises updates for 2.5 years.
The phone packs an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 12nm processor and ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. It also comes with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage. Internal storage is further expandable up to 1TB with a microSD card.
The rear camera setup has 50 megapixels primary camera and a 2 megapixels portrait camera. There is also a LED flash. For selfies, the phone has 5 megapixels front camera located in the waterdrop notch.
The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. It also has 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and USB Type-C connectivity options. OPPO A38 packs a 5000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support.
OPPO A38 comes in Black and Gold colors. It measures 163.74×75.03×8.16mm and weighs 190g.
OPPO A38 is now listed on the OPPO UAE website but pricing details are not mentioned. The phone already received BIS certification in India. So, we can expect the India launch soon.
