Lenovo has also partnered with Cooler Master to design a new cooling system for the laptop. The company calls it Coldfront which uses a metric ton of pipes to expel hot air from above the keyboard. There are also several vents.
Connectivity options include Thunderbolt 4.0 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C port, one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A port, an RJ45 Ethernet jack, an HDMI 2.1 port, and an SD card reader. It has a 1080p webcam with a physical privacy shutter, an RGB keyboard, and a trackpad. The laptop lacks Lenovo’s own LA2 AI chip that syncs with the keyboard RGB. The keyboard has 1.5mm key travel, 100% anti-ghosting, and swappable ceramic key caps for customization.
Lenovo Legion 9i packs a 99.99Whr battery that supports charging via a 330W Slim Adapter or the 140W Type-C Power adapter.
