After releasing the Infinix GT 10 Pro and Infinix Zero 30 5G, Infinix has introduced a new technology called 3D Lighting Leather. In recent years, Infinix has become well-known in the smartphone market, and its designs have played a big role in their success. This latest innovation from the smartphone brand under Transsion Holdings combines colorful LED lights with a special type of leather called translucent thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) leather on the edges of the phone’s back cover.

This new technology is made up of four layers. At the bottom, there’s an LED Light Guide Film (LFG) base layer covered in lightproof paint to make the light shine better. In the middle, there’s transparent fiberglass, which lets the LED lights shine through the see-through TPU leather. Infinix plans to use this 3D Lighting Leather tech along with sound effects to create dynamic notifications and alerts for different apps.

Although we don’t have all the specific details yet, Infinix could configure the LEDs to glow in a particular color when you receive a text message or to blink when a new notification from an app comes in.

The first phone to feature this 3D Lighting Leather will be a special edition of the Infinix Note 30 VIP, which will be available later this month.
