At IFA 2023, Honor showed off its new concept phone Honour V Purse. This is a foldable concept phone that feels more like a fashion accessory. The phone looks like a purse and also supports a series of interchangeable straps and chains that clip onto the phone. So, you can carry the phone like a purse. The display on the back can show a series of wallpapers designed to mimic different purse styles. The phone features an outward folding screen.

Honor has also worked with top talents to design the AOD styles for the back display. The company is also planning to open a platform for designers to create custom looks.

Honor confirmed that the phone has a green design. It uses sustainably sourced materials including vegan leather for the straps. The company wants to push tech into the fashion industry. The phone is very thin and measures just 9mm in thickness. It makes the phone thinner than its latest foldable phone Magic V2.

The company didn’t reveal many details and has also shown only one side of the phone. The back panel shows a triple camera setup. The company mentioned that the hinge can withstand 400,000 fold cycles.

This is merely a conceptual idea, so I cannot confirm whether the phone could ultimately evolve into a viable consumer product.
