Apple has officially unveiled its latest smartphone iPhone 15 series. All the iPhone 15 models feature Dynamic Island which was previously exclusive to Pro and Pro Max models.
The iPhone 15 and iPhone Plus feature 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches Super Retina XDR displays respectively. The Ceramic Shield provides extra protection to the display. The display also has 2000 nits of peak outdoor brightness.
Both models pack Apple’s A16 Bionic chip and promise impressive performance. The A16 bionic also features a 6-core GPU. The phone also has a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip.
These phones feature a 48-megapixel primary camera that uses pixel binning to provide a 24-megapixel image. Users will also get improved zoom with 2x telephoto “optical quality.” The company also promises better portrait photos. The Smart HDR mode has also been improved. For selfies, these phones feature 12 megapixels TrueDepth camera with HDR video recording up to 4K at 60 fps and Slo‑mo 1080p at 120fps,
The voice isolation feature has also been improved to provide better ambient noise reduction in a noisy environment. The company is also providing a Roadside Service feature.
The company promises an all-day battery life in the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.
The most notable change in the iPhone 15 is the presence of USB-C. Apple has finally ditched the Lightning connector in favor of USB-C.
The iPhone 15 will start at $799 and the 15 Plus will start at $899. Both the phones offer 128GB storage in the base model.
