Along with TECNO POVA 5 Pro 5G, TECNO Mobile also launched its budget 4G phone TECNO POVA 5 in India. The phone comes with a 6.78-inch FHD+ LCD display, Helio G99 SoC, up to 8GB of RAM, 128GB storage, dual rear camera, 8 MP selfie camera, and 6000mAh battery.
TECNO POVA 5 features a 6.78-inch full HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. There is a hole-punch for the selfie camera. The smartphone runs Android 13 with HiOS 13 on top.
The phone packs Octa Core MediaTek Helio G99 6nm processor and Arm Mali-G57 MC2. It comes in 6GB or 8GB LPDDR4x RAM options. It also supports up to 8GB of virtual RAM. Both models feature 128GB internal storage that is further expandable with a microSD card. TECNO has added a 10,749mm² heat dissipation area that includes a 1399.65mm² vapor chamber, and a 9349.39mm² graphene heat sink.
The smartphone has 50 megapixels primary camera and a secondary AI camera with dual LED flash. It also has 8 megapixels front-facing camera with LED flash at the front.
TECNO POVA 5 has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and Stereo speakers with DTS audio. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, USB Type-C, and NFC. The phone also packs a 6000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
TECNO POVA 5 measures 168.61×76.61×9.00mm. It comes in Amber Gold, Mecha Black, and Hurricane Blue colors.
