Tecno has unveiled its new rollable smartphone concept dubbed ‘Phantom Ultimate.’ The phone features a 6.55-inch display that increases to 7.11-inch in 1.3 seconds.
Tecno Phantom Ultimate features a single-drive motor system to expand the display at the press of a button. The button is located at the top right side of the phone. The phone has a 6.55-inch display and the extra display sits at the back. When you tap the button, it expands to show the full 7.11-inch display. The expanded display features a 2296 x 1596 pixel resolution and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.
The phone is 9.93mm thick and has a textured back.
As I already said, Phantom Ultimate is a concept phone. So, we cannot say if the phone will actually go into mass production. Rollable phones are yet to become an actual consumer product. Tecno is already known for offering the most affordable foldable available in the market. It feels good to see that the company is also working on foldable phones.
