Sony has unveiled a limited edition Spider-Man 2 PlayStation 5 and a matching DualSense controller at the 2023 San Diego Comic-Con.
The new Limited Edition Bundle features Spider-Man themed console cover and DualSense controller. In Spider-Man 2, Spider-Men will face the threat of Venom and the symbiote. So, the console reflects the intensity of the symbiote aggressively. The front cover of the console shows symbiote tendrils and the Spider-Man icon at a corner.
The limited edition bundle also includes a voucher for a digital copy of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The voucher can be redeemed when the game will be released.
“The design was inspired by the in-game symbiote that’s taking over the console and controller, but you can still see some of the underlying red under the tendrils. This represents the various ways players will experience the symbiote takeover in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. It’s a constant push and pull for dominance whether it’s internal or external and the outcome is not certain,” Jacinda Chew, Senior Art Director, Insomniac Games
People who are interested in this Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition Bundle can pre-order from 28th July. It will be released on September 1 via Sony Direct and certain retailers.
