Meta also introduced animated avatar stickers for Instagram and Facebook. Users can use animated stickers in Stories, Reels, comments, and private messages on both Messenger and Instagram. These stickers will allow users to express themselves in a unique way.

Users can also tag their friends in Facebook Stories by using @Tagging. It enables their avatars to hang out together and have shared experiences. The company calls it social stickers. These can be shared in 1:1 message threads for creating inside jokes and reliving shared moments.

Meta is also testing effortless Avatar creation on Facebook and WhatsApp. This new option will let users take a live selfie and get the platform generates suggested avatar options within seconds. Then users can personalize and choose the avatar that represents them. The company promises to refine and improve this feature over time for making it even better.

Meta is also standardizing the appearance of avatars across the platform. So, you will have the same look on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp.
