Reliance Jio has unveiled a Bluetooth tracking device called JioTag. JioTag will help users locate their lost or misplaced items.

JioTag tiny device that can be attached to a bag, key, wallet, or any other item. When you leave JioTag behind, it will show alter on your phone. You will have to install the JioThings app on your phone to locate JioTag and receive alerts.

AirTag

The device measures 3.82 x 3.82 x 0.72cm and weighs 9.5 grams. It has a square shape with rounded corners and comes only in white color. There’s a Jio logo on it. You can double-tap on the tracker and it will ring your phone even if the phone is on silent mode. This will feature helps you locate your misplaced phone when it is on silent. The product has a range of up to 20 meters indoors and 50 meters outdoors. It uses Bluetooth 5.1 to keep connected to your phone.

JioTag also has a Jio Community Find feature. When you can’t find your JioTag and also failed to get it at the last disconnection location, you can mark the item Lost on the JioThings app. The app will now use the Jio Community Find network to locate your lost JioTag.

The product uses a CR2032 battery that will last for up to 1 year. The company provides an additional battery and a lanyard cable inside the box. You can attach the lanyard to the JioTag for attaching to your bag or other products.

JioTag is similar to AirTag, Galaxy SmartTag, and Tile trackers. The MRP of JioTag is Rs. 2199 but the product is available at Rs. 749. Now
