At WWDC 2023, Apple also announced the upgraded Mac Pro with the new M2 Ultra Chip. It promises up to 3x faster than the previous-generation Intel-based Mac Pro models.

Mac Pro with the M2 Ultra includes a 24-core CPU and an up to 76-core GPU. It also has twice the memory and SSD storage. The device can be configured with up to a massive 192GB of memory.

The new Mac Pro is really powerful and can play an unprecedented 22 streams of 8K ProRes video. It also supports up to 24 4K camera feeds and can encode footage to ProRes in real-time on a single machine.

It has seven PCle expansion slots with six open expansion slots supporting gen 4. The new Mac Pro also has two higher-bandwidth HDMI ports that support up to 8K resolution and up to 240Hz frame rates. It also has three USB-A ports, two 10Gb Ethernet ports, and a headphone jack.

Mac Pro with Tower Enclosure starts at Rs. 7,29,900 and the Mac Pro with Rack Enclosure starts at Rs. 7,79,900. It is now available to order today on apple.com/in/store and in the Apple Store app. Shipping will start beginning Tuesday, June 13.
