POCO has launched its latest F-series smartphone POCO F5 in India. The phone is the successor to POCO F4 which was launched in the country last year. It features a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display, Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor, up to 12GB RAM, 64+8+2 MP rear camera, 16MP selfie camera, and 5000mAh battery.
POCO F5 features a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and DCI-P3 color gamut. The display panel also has 1920Hz High-Frequency PWM Dimming and 1000 nits peak brightness. It also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The phone also has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection to protect the display from scratches.

It runs Android 13 with MIUI 14 out of the box. POCO F5 promises 2 OS updates and 3 years of security updates for the phone.
POCO F5 is the first Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2-powered phone in India. The phone features up to 2.91GHz Octa Core Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 4nm processor and Adreno 725 580MHz GPU. It comes with 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. It also has vapor chamber cooling with an area of about 3725mm². There is also a 14 year of graphite sheet covering, 10000 mm² of total area.
The rear camera setup includes a 64 megapixels primary camera with OIS, an 8 megapixels 120° ultra-wide angle camera, and 2 megapixels macro camera. For selfies, it has 16 megapixels front camera.
There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor. POCO F5 has stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos. The phone also has Hi-Res Audio certification.
Connectivity options include 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. It packs a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. The phone can be charged from zero to 100 percent in just 45 minutes.
Poco F5 measures 161.11×74.95×7.9mm and 181g. It comes in Carbon Black, Sandstorm White, and Electric Blue colors. The phone is also IP53 splash resistant.
