Motorola just launched its latest smartphone Motorola Edge 40 in India. The phone features a 6.55-inch FHD+ pOLED curved display, Dimensity 8020 SoC 8GB of RAM, 256GB storage, 50+13 MP rear camera, 32 MP selfie camera, and 4600mAh battery. The phone is priced at Rs. 29999.
Motorola Edge 40 features a 6.55-inch FHD+ 8-bit pOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. The display panel has up to 1200 nits brightness. It also has a hole-punch for the selfie camera.
The phone packs Octa Core Dimensity 8020 6nm processor with Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. It also has 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Motorola edge 40 runs Android 13 out of the box.
The rear camera setup includes 50 megapixels primary camera with Quad Pixel Technology and OIS. It also has 13 megapixels 120° ultra-wide autofocus camera with macro option. For selfies, the phone has 32 megapixels front camera with Quad Pixel Technology. The phone can record 4K@30fps videos from both the rear and front cameras.
The phone has Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. It also supports USB Type-C Audio.
Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ax (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC. Motorola claims that the phone supports 14 5G bands. The phone packs a 4600mAh battery with support for 68W TurboPower fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse charging.
Motorola Edge 40 has a sandblasted aluminum frame and a curved vegan leather matte acrylic back option. The phone is also IP68 rated for dust and water resistance. It comes in Eclipse Black with an acrylic back along with Nebula Green and Lunar Blue with a vegan leather back. The Acrylic back variant measures 158.43×71.99×7.58mm and weighs 167g. The variant with Leather back measures 158.43×71.99×7.49mm and weighs 171g.
