Developer NetherRealm Studios has officially announced Mortal Kombat 1, the next chapter in its fighting game series. Rather than the expected Mortal Kombat 12 name, the company calls the new game Mortal Kombat 1. It is because the new game is the reboot of the services.

Just like in previous games, Mortal Kombat 1 will also have a unique roster of characters and a new fighting system, and a story mode. You can watch the trailer to know more about the game.

Mortal Kombat 1 will be available on September 19, 2023. Pre-orders start on May 19. The game will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Interested gamers can join beta access on PlayStation and Xbox in August. The base version of the game will cost $70. Premium Edition and Kollector’s Edition will cost $110 and $250 respectively.

Mortal Kombat 1 Premium Edition will include all Standard Edition content along with the Kombat Pack, 1-week early access to the game, and 1,250 Dragon Krystals.

Mortal Kombat 1 Kollector’s Edition will offer all the Premium Edition content along with 16.5-inch Liu Kang sculpture, an inspired Liu Kang in-game character skin, 2,700 Dragon Krystals, a steel case, and three exclusive art prints.
