Lava has launched its latest 5G smartphone Lava Agni 2 5G in its Agni series of smartphones. The phone features a 6.78-inch FHD+ dual curved AMOLED display, Dimensity 7050 6nm processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, triple camera, 16 MP selfie camera, and 4700mAh battery. The phone is priced at Rs. 21999.
Lava Agni 2 5G comes with a 6.78-inch dual curved AMOLED display with 2400×1080 pixels resolution. The display panel has a 120Hz refresh rate and 950 nits peak brightness. The display also supports HDR10+ content and comes with Widevine L1 DRM certification The display panel has double-reinforced glass protection and also features Oleophobic coating. The phone has a 2.3mm bottom bezel and boasts a 93.65% screen-to-body ratio. Lava Agni 2 has a stunning 3D dual curve design that features 3D glass with a matte finish.
The phone runs Android 13 out of the box and doesn’t come with any bloatware. Lava also confirmed 2 major Android updates and 3 years of security updates for the phone.
Lava Agni 2 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7050 6nm SoC with Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. The phone has 3rd Gen 2900mm² Vapour Chamber cooling technology and X-Axis Linear Motor Haptics. It packs 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The phone also supports up to 8GB of virtual RAM.
There is a quad camera setup that includes 50 megapixels primary camera with 1/1.55″ sensor and f/1.88 aperture. It also has ultra-wide, depth, and macro cameras. The company didn’t confirm megapixel or sensor details of other cameras. For selfies, the phone has 16 megapixels front-facing camera.
The phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor that boasts to unlock the phone in just 0.24 seconds. It also supports Face Unlock. Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, Dual-frequency GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, and USB Type-C.
Lava Agni 2 packs a 4700mAh battery with 66W fast charging. It promises to charge the phone up to 50% in 16 minutes.
