Google just launched its unveiled Pixel smartphone Pixel 7a at Google I/O 2023. The phone has also been launched on the same day in India. Pixel 7a features a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display, Tensor G2 SoC, 64+13MP rear camera, 1 MP selfie camera, and 4385mAh battery. The phone is priced at Rs. 43,999.
Google Pixel 7a features a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED HDR display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The display panel also has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Pixel 7a runs Android 13 out of the box. It will receive security updates for at least 5 years and OS updates for 3 years.
It packs Google Tensor G2 SoC and Titan M2 security chip. Pixel 7a has 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The rear camera setup includes 64 megapixels primary camera with OIS and a 13 megapixels ultra-wide secondary camera. The phone also has 13 megapixels front camera. The phone can record 4K videos from both the rear and front cameras. It also includes Super Res Zoom up to 8x to give you sharp, high-quality images.
There is an in-display fingerprint sensor. It supports USB Type-C audio and features stereo speakers.
Connectivity options include 5G SA/NA, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11ax (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.3 LE, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, BeiDou, NavIC, USB Type C 3.3 (Gen 2), and NFC. It packs a 4385mAh battery with 18W wired fast charging and support for wireless charging.
Pixel 7a has a 3D thermoformed composite back and tactile alloy frame. Google claims that it has a 100% recycled aluminum frame. It comes in Charcoal, Sea, and Snow colors. The phone measures 152x 72.9x9mm and it weighs 193.5g. Pixel 7a is IP67 dust and water resistant.
