Google Photos was launched back in 2015 and it has become one of the most popular photo storage and sharing platform in recent years. With features like the automatic organization of photos, Magic Eraser, and Photo Unblur, it has become an important part of people’s lives. Today at Google I/O 2023, Google introduced Magic Editor, a new editor powered by generative AI to make photo editing even easier.

Google’s upcoming Magic Editor will let users make complex edits without having pro-level editing skills. Magic Editor features generative AI to help you make edits to any part of an image for making your photos better.

Google also demonstrated the ‘experimental’ Magic Editor to show how it can fix photos. Users will also be able to move and resize subjects, stretch objects, remove unwanted bag straps, and more.

Select Pixel phones will get early access to Magic Editor later this year. The company will use feedback to improve the technology.
