Apple introduced its latest Beats Studio Buds+. It features improved Active Noise Cancellation, longer battery life, and a cool transparent design variant. New Earbuds pack a custom “Beats Proprietary Platform” chip. It is priced at $170.

The most notable change in Beats Studio Buds+ is the new Transparent color option that makes it stand out. It feels similar to what Nothing delivered. However, Beats is not offering the same level of transparency. If you ignore the transparent design, Studio Buds+ features the same design as Studio Buds.

Even if new buds look similar to predecessor, Beats claim that 95% of the internal parts a new to offer improved music and better sound capture. Buds are also IPX4 sweat and water-resistant.

Along with regular small, medium, and large sizes eartips, the company is also offering extra-small ear tip option. The company has also redesigned the b button on ear earbud to reduce accidental presses. The button can be used for media control, volume control, and call control. You can also press and hold to toggle between ANC and Transparency mode.

Beats Studio Buds+ also support Spatial Audio content, but they do not include immersive head-tracking functionality. The ANC performance is 1.6x better and Transparency performance is 2X better than the predecessor.

These new pair of buds pack a custom second-generation “Beats Proprietary Platform” that offers most of the features including Hey Siri and Find My. It also supports automatic device switching via iCloud.

Beats Studio Buds+ promises up to 9 hours of music playback and a total of 36 hours of playback with a charging case. It also supports fast charging and a 5 minutes of charge can offer up to an hour of music listening. The charging case has USB-C for charging and it doesn’t support wireless charging. It takes around two hours to fully charge the case and the buds.

Beats Studio Buds+ comes in Black, Ivory, and Transparent color options. It is priced at $170/£180/€200. You can order it starting today from Apple Store or partner retail stores.
