Xiaomi has just launched its latest flagship smartphone Xiaomi 13 Ultra at an event in China. The phone has a 6.73-inch 2K OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, up to 16GB RAM, quad-rear camera, 32MP selfie camera, and 5000mAh battery.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra features a 6.73-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED display with a 1-120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display panel has up to 2600 nits peak brightness and 1920Hz PWM dimming. It also supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision content. The display panel also has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
It is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 4nm processor and Adreno next-gen GPU. The phone uses LPPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It is offered in 12GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB models. Xiaomi uses a Loop Liquid Cool technology that includes Vapor liquid separation design and One-way circulation. Xiaomi claims that this liquid cooling tech offers three times better cooling over traditional VCs.
The camera setup includes 50 megapixels primary camera with f/1.9 – f/4.0 variable aperture, 23mm focal length, 8P aspherical lens, and HyerOIS. It also has 50 megapixels 122° ultrawide angle camera, 50 megapixels Sony IMX858 telephoto camera with f/1.8 aperture, 75mm equivalent focal length and OIS, and a 50 megapixels periscope telephoto camera with 120mm equivalent focal length, OIS, Leica Summicron optics, and 10x optical zoom. If you look at specs, three cameras feature an aperture wider than ƒ/2.0. So, sensors get more light and offer an improved shallow depth of field. The phone supports end-to-end Dolby Vision recording and playback. It can also capture up to 14-bit Ultra RAW photos, and 8K videos. For selfies, the phone also has 32 megapixels RGBW front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The phone has an In-display fingerprint sensor that also supports heart rate monitoring. It also has an Infrared sensor and Dual speakers with support for Dolby Atmos. Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS (L1 + L5), NavIC, USB Type-C USB 3.2 Gen 1, and NFC.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 90W wired turbo charging, 50W wireless turbo charging, and reverse wireless charging. The phone also features several battery health functions to ensure longer battery life at extremely granular levels.
The phone is IP68 dust and water-resistant. It uses second-generation nanotech silicone leather technology that is fingerprint and smudges resistant. The back is also antibacterial with a 99% bacterial inhibition rate. The phone measures 163.18×74.64×9.06mm and weighs 227g. It comes in Black, White, and Olive Green colors.

The phone starts at 5,999 yuan in China and is available to order staring today. It will go on sale in China from April 21st. The phone will also be available in global markets in the next few months.
