TECNO launched its first foldable phone TECNO Phantom V Fold at MWC 2023. The phone features a 7.85-inch 2K+ foldable LTPO AMOLED display, Dimensity 9000+ processor, 8GB RAM, 50+13+50 MP triple camera, 32 MP selfie camera, 16 MP inner camera, and 5000mAh battery.
TECNO PHANTOM V Fold 5G Features a 7.85-inch 2K+ foldable 10-120Hz LTPO AMOLED display. There is also a 6.42-inch secondary 120Hz LTPO AMOLED display.
The phone also has aerospace-grade innovative drop-shaped hinge with exclusive fixed-axis rotate and slide technology. The company has developed a reverse snap structure to make folding virtually seamless and crease-free. Tecno claims that the hinge has a durability of over 200,000 folds.
It packs Octa Core MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor and Mali-G710 MC10 GPU. It has 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone runs Android 13 with HiOS 13 Fold UI out of the box. The UI has features like Split Screen and Parallel Windows. it is also optimized for a foldable screen.
The phone features a triple camera 50 megapixels primary camera, 13 megapixels 120° ultra-wide camera, and 50 megapixels 2x portrait telephoto camera. The phone has a 32 megapixels selfie camera on the outer display and a 16 megapixels camera on the inter display. You can also use the front screen to shoot selfies with the rear camera.
PHANTOM V Fold 5 features an in-display fingerprint sensor. Other connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC. It packs a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
TECNO Phantom V Fold 5G is priced at Rs. 89,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model and Rs. 99,999 for 12GB + 512GB model. The phone will be available in India in Q1 2023 and early birds can get it for Rs. 79,999.
