Along with Redmi Note 12, Xiaomi also launched its budget phone Redmi 12C in India. The phone features a 6.71-inch HD+ display, Helio G85 SoC, up to 6GB RAM, 50+2 MP rear camera, 5MP selfie camera, and 50000 mAg battery. The phone starts at Rs. 8999.
Redmi 12C features a 6.71-inch HD+ display with 1650 x 720 pixels resolution. The phone runs Android 12 with MIUI 13 out of the box.
It packs Octa Core MediaTek Helio G85 12nm processor and ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. The phone comes in two models: 4+64GB and 6+128GB models. Internal storage is also expandable up to 512GB with microSD card.
The rear camera setup includes 50 megapixels primary camera and a 2 megapixels depth camera. For selfies, the phone has 5 megapixels front-facing camera.
Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS + GLONASS, and micro USB port. It packs a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging.
