It seems Realme is the latest smartphone brand that is set to launch its foldable smartphone. Madhav Sheth, Realme VP and President of Realme International tweeted to ask if users prefer a foldable or flip phone.

This tweet hints that the company is working on both flip and foldable phones. But it remains to be seen what the company has planned. Realme’s upcoming foldable could be similar to the OPPO Find N2 and Find N2 Flip.

It is worth noting that the company previously teased a foldable phone back in November 2021 when we saw a sketch of the phone. The phone was rumored to come in 2022 but the launch never happened.

Realme is not the only new brand launching a foldable phone. During MWC 2023 and OnePlus 11 launch event, OnePlus also confirmed its foldable phone. The launch of the OnePlus foldable is scheduled for Q3 2023.

After the entry of OnePlus and Realme in the foldable segment, the majority of Android brands will have their existence in the foldable segment. Not sure when Apple will consider launching a foldable phone.
