Realme today launched a new smartphone Realme C55 in Indonesia. The [hone features Apple’s Dynamic Island-like Mini Capsule notch. The Mini Capsule will display low battery alerts, charging status, data consumption, step count, and walking distance. However, step count and data consumption will be available later through an OTA update.
Realme C55 features a 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display panel has up to 680 nits brightness. The phone runs Android 13 with Realme UI 4.0 out of the box.
It packs Octa Core MediaTek Helio G88 12nm processor and ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. The phone comes in 6+128GB and 8+256GB models. Internal storage is further expandable up to 1TB via microSD card.
The rear camera setup of Realme C55 includes 64 megapixels primary camera and 2 megapixels depth camera. For selfies, it has 8 megapixels front camera.
The fingerprint sensor is on the side button. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC. Realme C55 packs a 5000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. Realme C55 is also the fastest-charging C-series smartphone yet.
Realme C55 comes in Sun Shower, Rainy Night, and Rainforest colors. It measures 165.6×75.9×7.89mm and weighs 189.5g.
The base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at 2,49,9000 Indonesian Rupiah. The model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs 2,999,000 Indonesian Rupiah. It will go on sale in Indonesia starting from tomorrow, March 8th.
