India’s Twitter rival social media app Koo has integrated OpenAI’s ChatGPT to help users draft posts. Users can either use prompts or Koo’s voice command feature to get results.

The company claims that around 20 percent of Koo users actively create content on the app. With ChatGPT integration, Koo aims to boost its active user base.

Mayank Bidawatka, co-founder of Koo was talking about the feature in an interview. He said that users would be able to use ChatGPT to write posts about current events, politics, or pop culture.

“We are the first microblogging platform in the world to integrate this tool as a part of our creation flow and hope to get surprised by the various ways creators use this intelligent tool,” Bidawatka added.

To use ChatGPT for creating content, tap + icon to create a Koo. Then tap the ‘Bulb’ to input the prompt and generative AI will write content on the basis of your prompt.

Bidawatka also said that people should know if the content was AI-generated. So, the company will explore adding labels to indicate whether a post was created with the help of AI.

For now, the feature won’t be available to all users. Initially, it is being rolled out for verified accounts and will be available to other users gradually. If you do not have a verified Koo profile, you will have to wait to get this feature,
