Elden Ring gets Ray tracing on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC

Elden Ring gets Ray tracing on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC

The long-promised patch to bring ray tracing to Elden Ring has been released. The latest patch brings Ray Tracing support for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC platforms.

If you play the game on PC, go to the Graphics setting and find Ray Tracing Quality to enable it. PlayStation 5 and Xbox users need to go to Game Options to activate Ray Tracing. After turning on Ray Tracing, it could have a slight impact on the frame rate.

The update also includes several bug fixes and adjustments to weapons.

Elden Ring System requirements

The company has also confirmed the minimum technical specs for Ray-tracing on the PC. To enjoy Rat-tracing, your system must meet the following minim technical specifications.

  • OPERATING SYSTEM: WINDOWS 10
  • PROCESSOR: Intel Core i5-10600K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT
  • MEMORY: 16 GB RAM
  • GRAPHIC CARD: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, 8 GB or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT, 12 GB
  • RECOMMENDED GRAPHICS SETTING: 1080p – Low quality – Low Ray Tracing
