Gaming’s big summer show E2 2023 has been canceled. This gaming show was set to return this year in Los Angeles for the first time since 2019, This decision to cancel the event was taken after several big gaming companies including Nintendo, Microsoft, Ubisoft, Sega, and Tencent decided not to participate in the event. E3 2023 was scheduled for June 13-16.

This year’s E3 event aimed to bring a gathering of publishers, developers, media, and buyers. But the event failed to attract many big publishers.

Ubisoft previously committed to the event but backed out of it earlier this week. The company will now hold its separate Ubisoft Forward Live event on June 12. Microsoft will also host an Xbox Games Showcase on June 11. In the same way, Nintendo and Sony will also continue hosting their online events to showcase new games and other updates.

Gamers who were looking forward to E3 can now focus on other gaming events such as Game Fest, Ubisoft Forward, Xbox Games Showcase, and more.
