The BAFTA Games Awards 2023 was held last night and it awarded games of genres released in 2022. The award ceremony was held at the Queen Elizabeth Hall of South Bank, London. The ceremony was hosted by Julia Hardy and Inel Thompson and it was also live-streamed on Twitch. Vampire Survivors won the award for the Best game of 2022.
Vampire Survivors also won awards for the best game design. God of War Ragnarök won awards for Animation, Audio Achievement, and EE Game Of The Year voted by the Public. Laya Deleon Hayes as Angrboda won awards for performance in a Supporting Role.
