Vivo has launched its latest mid-range smartphone Vivo Y100 in India. The smartphone features a 6.38-inch FHD+ 90Hz display, Dimensity 900 SoC, 8GB RAM, 64+2+2 MP rear camera, 16 MP selfie camera, and 4500mAh battery. The phone is priced at Rs. 24999.
Vivo Y100 sports a 6.38-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 1300 nits brightness. The display supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and HDR 10+. Vivo Y100 also features a u-shaped notch for the selfie camera.
Vivo Y100 packs Octa Core Dimensity 900 6nm processor and Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. It has 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. The internal storage of the phone is also expandable via a microSD card. Vivo Y100 also features Extended RAM 3.0 that can bring 8GB of additional virtual RAM. The phone runs Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box.
If we look at the camera setup, Vivo Y100 features a triple camera that includes 64 megapixels primary camera, 2 megapixels depth camera, and 2 megapixel macro camera. It can also shoot 4K high-definition videos that are visually appealing. The phone has OIS to record stable videos. For selfies, the phone has 16 megapixels front camera.
It has an in-display fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include 5G NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz /5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, and USB Type-C.
The phone packs 4500mAh battery with 44W fast charging. Vivo claims that the phone can be charged up to 60% in 30 minutes.
Vivo Y100 features a Color-Changing Flourite AG Glass design that changes color when it comes under sunlight or other sources of Artificial UV rays. It comes in two eye-catching color-changing variants- Pacific Blue and Twilight Gold. There is also a third metal black color option. The phone measures 158.91×73.53×7.73mm and weighs 181g.
Vivo Y100 is priced at Rs. 24,999 and is now available from vivo.com and offline stores.
