Twitter lets users post longer posts of up to 4000 characters, but there’s a catch. You need to be a Blue subscriber to get the ability. If you post a lengthy tweet, it will be shown on the timeline with a “show more” button to save space on the timeline.
If you are composing a tweet longer than the standard 280 characters, you cannot save it as a draft or schedule it for later. Blue subscribers can also write a reply or quote retweet with 4,000 characters.
Twitter is trying hard to make its Blue subscription more appealing. The company has also added a blue tick as a part of the Blue subscription to encourage users. With exclusive features, it could add more Blue subscribers.
