Sons of the Forest sold 2 million copies in the first 24 hours

Survival horror game Sons of the Forest was released on February 23, 2023, and the game received an amazing response. It sold over 2 million copies within the first 24 hours of its Early Access release. The developer Endnight Games confirmed this on Twitter.

Thanks to those who have joined us in our Early Access journey into ‘Sons Of The Forest’ We have sold over 2 million copies in the first 24 hours, and are very excited for what we have in store for players in the coming weeks.

We also checked Steamdb and saw that the game peaked at 411,999 players on February 25. It also ranked 5th on the list of most-played games on Steam. The game is only behind some CS: GO, Dota 2, Apex legends, and PUBG: Battlegrounds.

Sons of the Forest is a survival horror game where you are sent to find a missing billionaire on a remote island. Your aim is to survive and complete the mission. Sons of the Forest is the sequel to the 2014 video game The Forest. The game was announced back in December 2019 and was initially scheduled to release in May 2022. The game was delayed twice and was finally released on February 23, 2023.
