Samsung has just unveiled its latest flagship smartphone Galaxy S23 Ultra in the Galaxy S23 series of smartphones. The phone comes with a premium, build, a high-end camera system, and powerful performance.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra features a 6.8-inch Edge QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display with a dynamic refresh rate of 1–120Hz and 240Hz sampling rate in Game Mode. The display and back panel also feature Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The phone runs Android 13 with OneUI 5.1 out of the box.
It is powered by an overclocked version of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and Adreno 740. It comes in 4 different models: 8GB + 256GB, 12GB +256 GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 12GB + 1TB models. The phone has no option to expand storage. The phone uses LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0 storage.
The rear camera setup includes a 200 megapixels primary camera with Dual Pixel PDAF, OIS, and 10x optical zoom. It also has 10 megapixels telephoto camera, and 12 megapixels ultrawide camera. There is also a 10 megapixels Periscope camera for offering 100x Space Zoom. It can record up to 8K videos and can record HDR10+ videos. For selfies, the phone has 12 megapixels front-facing camera.
It has IP68 dust and water resistance. The phone also has stereo speakers tuned by AKG. Galaxy S23 Ultra also has an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor. It also has Samsung Knox security and Knox Vault support.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6e, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C 3.2. Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra packs a 5000 mAh Li-ion battery with support for 45W wired, 10W wireless, and 4.5W reverse wireless technology. The phone can be charged up to 65% in just 30 minutes using wired fast charging.
Galaxy S23 Ultra measures 78.1 X 163.4 X 8.9mm and weighs 234g. The phone uses more recycled materials for its non-critical internal components. It comes in Phantom Black, Green, Cream, and Lavender colors.
