Realme just launched its latest smartphone Realme GT Neo5 in China. The most interesting thing about this phone is its 240W fast charging. It also features a 6.74-inch display, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, 50+8+2 MP rear camera, 16MP selfie camera, and 5G.
Realme GT Neo5 is being launched in two different variants. One variant packs a 5000mAh battery and supports 150W SuperVOOC fast charging. It can be charged up to 100% in 16 minutes. The other variant comes with a 4600mAh battery and it supports 240W SuperVOOC fast charging. This variant can be charged up to 50% in 4 minutes, and full charge about in 9 minutes. Just 30 seconds of charging can offer 2 hours of talk time.
Realme GT Neo5 features a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with up to 1450 nits peak brightness, 2160Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming, and a 144Hz refresh rate. The phone runs Android 13 with realme UI 4.0 out of the box.
The phone packs Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The 150W fast charging variant is offered in 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB RAM options with 256GB storage. The 240W fast charging variant comes with 16GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB variant. The phone features a variable heat dissipation system max with 6580 mm² cooling area. It also has a 1500Hz gaming control engine and antenna matrix system 2.0.
The rear camera setup includes 50 megapixels primary camera with OIS, 8 megapixels 112° ultra-wide camera, and 2 megapixels microscope lens. The phone also has 16 megapixels front camera.
Realme GT Neo5 features a transparent RGB design inspired by transparent gaming chassis. The phone also includes transparent double-film zero-noise technology, a deco integrated metal camera, and the halo RGB system. The RGB system has 25 colors, 5-speed adjustments, and custom settings. It also has e-sports berserk light effect that can also be used for notifications.
realme GT Neo5 comes in three different colors: Purple, White, and Black. The purple color uses matte fusion process in a piece of glass using four textures. The Black has Purple and white combine black and white. The phone measures 163.85×75.75×8.9mm and weighs 199g.
Realme GT Neo5 features stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio. Connectivity options include 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS (L1 + L5)/ GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.
