POCO has just launched POCO X5 Pro in India. The phone features a 6.67-inch FHD+ Xfinity AMOLED display with support for Dolby Vision, Snapdragon 778G SoC, up to 8GB RAM, 108+8+2 MP rear camera, 16 MP selfie camera, and 5000mAh battery. The phone starts at Rs. 22999.
POCO X5 Pro 5G features a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz variable refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display panel supports 1920Hz High-Frequency PWM Dimming, DCI-P3 color gamut, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+. It also boasts 900 nits peak brightness. There is also Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
It packs Octa Core Snapdragon 778G 6nm processor with Adreno 642L GPU. The company has used 12-layer graphite for heat dissipation. It is offered in 6+128GB, 8+128GB, and 8+256GB variants. The phone runs Android 12 with MIUI 14 on top. It will also get 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security updates.
The rear camera setup of POCO X5 Pro 5G features a 108 megapixels primary camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, it has 16 megapixels front camera. The phone can record up to 4K videos, The company claims that the camera is faster that predecessor. It is 69% faster in taking photos, and 38% in night mode.
There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an Infrared sensor. It comes with Super-linear stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos.
