HMD Global has launched its latest smartphone Nokia X30 5G in India. The phone was introduced back in September. It features a 6.43-inch FHD+ 90Hz display, Snapdragon 695 SoC, 8GB RAM, 50+13 MP dual camera, 16MP selfie camera, and 4200mAh battery.
Nokia X30 features a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 700 nits peak brightness. The display also has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The phone runs Android 12 out of the box and promises 3 OS upgrades along with 3 years of monthly security updates.
It packs Octa Core Snapdragon 695 processor and Adreno 619L GPU. The phone also has 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB internal storage.
The rear camera setup includes 50 megapixels primary camera with OIS and 13 megapixels ultra-wide camera. The camera class also has Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It also has 16 megapixels selfie camera.
There’s an in-display fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options are 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, NFC, and USB Type-C. Nokia X30 packs a 4200mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
Nokia X30 is made with 100% recycled aluminum and a back cover of 65% recycled plastic. It measures 158.9 x 73.9 x 7.99mm and weighs 185g. Nokia X30 5G comes in Ice White and Cloudy Blue colors.

Nokia X30 5G is priced at 48,999. The company has begun pre-booking on Nokia.com, Amazon.in & leading retail outlets starting today. The phone will be available starting from February 20th.

Considering the specs, Nokia X30 5G doesn’t seem worth the pricing. Snapdragon 695 SoC was released back in 2021. Poco X4 Pro with Snapdragon 695 costs just Rs. 19000. If you compare Nokia X30 5G with Poco X4 Pro, Poco X4 Pro seems much better. There’s no reason to recommend Nokia X30 5G at this price.
