Samsung has now mistakenly confirmed the launch date of Galaxy S23. The company will hold Galaxy Unpacked event on February 01, 2023, to launch upcoming flagship smartphones. Samsung Colombia added a web page for the Galaxy Unpacked event but later removed it. But, we can expect the official confirmation soon.

The web page didn’t explicitly mention the Galaxy S23 but we know why the company holds the Galaxy Unpacked event.

The Galaxy S23 series includes Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. We have already read several leaks and rumors about these upcoming smartphones. These upcoming phones will pack Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 octa-core processor. We can also expect Qualcomm’s recently announced Snapdragon Satellite.

One of the reports also claims that Samsung may scrape the 128GB base model in the upcoming Galaxy S23 series. These phones will come with a 256GB storage base model. Increasing the base storage should also increase the pricing. So, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series will be costlier than the Samsung Galaxy S22 series.

Galaxy S23 Ultra is also rumored to come with 200 megapixels camera along with 12 megapixels ultra-wide camera and a 10 megapixels telephoto camera. It should retain the 6.8-inch screen. The Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23 Plus to feature a 6.6-inch and 6.1-inch display respectively. These phones should also offer 8K 30fps recording.

Samsung has already confirmed that the Galaxy S23 series smartphones will feature an improved cooling system. There could be no significant improvements in the fast charging system.
