Realme has today unveiled the 240W fast charging solution. This 240W fast charging is also the fastest fast charging solution supported by the Type-C interface. This fast-charging tech will debut with Realme GT Neo 5 next month.

This fast charging tech uses a 240W dual GaN mini charging adapter and a single USB-C interface. Realme claims that this 240W charging architecture is safe, and has a super high power conversion rate of 98.7%. The company will also launch the world’s first 12A charging cable and the world’s first 240W dual GaN charging solution.

The company confirms that it has used a PS3-leveled fireproof design and 13 temperature sensors to monitor charging heat in real-time. Realme has also incorporated a meaty graphene heat dissipation system. Realme has also confirmed that the peak charging standard is good for 1600 battery charging cycles.

Realme will introduce GT Neo 5 next month in China. With the launch of the phone, we will know the actual performance of this 240W fast charging.
