Oppo has introduced its latest 5G smartphone Oppo A78 5G in India, The phone features a 6.56-inch HD+ 90Hz display, Dimensity 700 SoC, 8GB RAM, 50+2MP rear camera, 8MP selfie camera, and 5000 mAh battery. The phone is priced at Rs. 18999.
OPPO A78 5G features a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90 Hz Refresh rate and 96% NTSC/100% DCI-P3 color gamut. The display panel boasts 480 nits of peak brightness. The phone has a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. It runs Android 13 with ColorOS 13 on top.
It packs Octa Core MediaTek Dimensity 700 7nm processor and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The phone has 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. It also has 128GB UFS 2.2 storage with an option to expand storage up to 1TB with a microSD card.

The phone features a dual camera with 50 megapixels primary camera and 2 megapixels portrait camera. It also has an 8 megapixels front-facing camera for selfies.
It has dual stereo speakers and also features an Ultra Volume Mode. The Ultra Volume Mode can turn up the speaker level by 200 percent to hear clear sound.
OPPO A78 5G comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and USB Type-C. Oppo claims that the phone supports 5G networks offered by all Indian service providers, including Jio, Vodafone, and Airtel.
It packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging. The phone can be charged up to 100% in 60 minutes and promises up to 23 hours of battery backup with heavy usage.
The back panel of the phone has a pattern of brilliant lights extending to the backplate and polished rings around the camera module. It also has a glittering matte and stain-resistant finish. The phone comes in Glowing Blue and Glowing Black colors. It measures 163.8×75.1×7.99mm and weighs 186g.
OPPO A78 5G is priced at Rs. 18999 and will be available in India from mainline retail outlets, OPPO E-Store, and Amazon starting January 18, 2023. Customers can also avail of up to 10% cashback and six months NCEMI from SBI, ICICI, IDFC, OneCard and AU Finance Bank.
