After beta testing the Avatar feature, the company has now started rolling out the feature to all users. With WhatsApp avatar, users can personalize the way they express themselves on the messaging app.
“Your avatar is a digital version of you that can be created from billions of combinations of different hair styles, facial features, and outfits,” the company said.
WhatsApp says that users can customize their Avatars by using different combinations of facial characteristics, hairstyles, and clothing. There are also 36 customized stickers that represent a wide range of feelings and expressions. It will also offer style enhancements including lighting, shading, and hair style textures in the coming days.
To create your Avatar, open the WhatsApp app and go to Settings. Here, tap Avatar and then select Create Your Avatar. Follow the steps to create and customize the avatar.
You can also make your avatar your profile photo if you want. Sharing Avatar on a WhatsApp conversion is also easy.
WhatsApp’s Avatar feature is similar to Snap’s Bitmoji or Apple’s Memoji stickers. Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram also have the same feature. Now Meta is introducing it to WhatsApp.
Meta has confirmed that WhatsApp Avatar will be available to all users starting today.
